HAAS POWER AIR
CURRENT INVENTORY
HaasPowerAir keeps an ongoing stock of Zenith 801 STOL airframe modification parts on hand to provide 801 builders with proven upgrades for their planes.
These currently consist of
"No Slot Flaperon" kits.
This does away with the banana slots the factory calls for to move the flaperons. This slot allows for air; hot and cold, wind noise, rain, snow, bugs, etc, to enter the cabin. This mod does not change the geometry in any way but simply alters the location of the leverage point and transfers that to the pivot point.
All parts are 4130 TIG welded steel and complete instructions are included.
Main Gear Axle Spacers.
These prevent the builder from having to carve out the bottom of the main gear leg to clear the brake calipers. The mod does that plus it adds 2.25" of main tire stance to help in cross wind takeoffs and landings. All that is needed is 1.125" longer spindle bolts to upgrade to this option.
The engine/ firewall forward packages are designed and engineered to use as many off the shelf items as possible. This philosophy allows for the end user the convienence of being able to purchase components from various vendors to expedite any replacements that will be needed throughout the life of the powerplant. This meets out objective of helping to keep the cost of flying to a reasonable level.
HaasPowerAir is also able to provide high torque, lightweight compact starters for almost any application.
